Imagine being able to determine when staff are moving around in a given area of the office then they leave that area, some light control systems just have an on/off mode. Well combining ISG inClass LED technology with our control partners you can determine the light available and dim accordingly. For example instead of turning lights in corridors off completely they can be dimmed at varying stages and then illuminated when needed as people enter the area.
So dimming does not have to be dumb, configured correctly it can save energy all the time and still provide layers of lighting that can interact with environment and needs of occupants. Also with our intelligent light sensoring sufficient dimming can be provided when there is ambient daylight providing sufficient luminance for perfect working conditions known as Daylight Harvesting. This kind of configuration will save millions a year in energy and HVAC costs depending on the size of your application.
